Night Flight Ban Could Benefit the Economy.

A ban on night flights at Heathrow before 6am could benefit the economy to the tune of over £860 million over a 10 year period. That is the conclusion of a new report commissioned by HACAN from CE Delft, the Dutch economic consultancy who produced our report on the third runway.

The report, A Ban on Night Flights at Heathrow Airport, found that the benefits of night flights to the wider economy would be outweighed by the savings that would comefrom the reduced costs associated with noise and air pollution.
