{"id":79078,"date":"2026-07-17T15:51:05","date_gmt":"2026-07-17T15:51:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hacan.org.uk\/?p=79078"},"modified":"2026-07-17T15:51:07","modified_gmt":"2026-07-17T15:51:07","slug":"consultation-on-heathrow-expansion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hacan.org.uk\/?p=79078","title":{"rendered":"Consultation on Heathrow Expansion"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The UK Government has opened its consultation on an updated Airports National Policy Statement (ANPS) \u2014 now renamed the Heathrow Expansion National Policy Statement (HENPS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sets out the proposed planning framework against which any future application for development consent (planning permission) would be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Government\u2019s own analysis shows just how bad the impact of expansion would be for local communities and our environment.
